    2006 60 hp merc 4 stroke

What is the engine serial number?

    2004 F60 continuous alarm sound

Over temperature or low oil pressure. One of the two. I would tap into the wiring so that it will be known exactly which of the two that it is. Then go from there.

2007 F115 starter relay position and how do you "jump it"?

I would start by applying battery + to the brown/white wire. The solenoid should close. The Bendix drive gear should jump up. The starter motor should turn the flywheel. If not, come back and let's talk.

    Fuel Management gauge 6Y5-8350F-01-00

Yes. So that you can start with a known quantity. Fill the tank. Run the motors for X period of time. See how much fuel the gauge says you used. Refill the tank and see if the amount added is the same as the gauge reported as having been used. If not, calibrate the gauge so that reported...

2008 yam 250 Check engine light camp on while starting up for first time this season

It happens. I shut my motor off one time when it was in gear. Went to crank the motor and nothing. Startled me. Then I realized what had happened. Lesson learned.

2007 F115 starter relay position and how do you "jump it"?

I am not saying for you to apply power directly to the starter motor. That seems to be what it is that you want to do. I am just telling you how to do what I think it is that you want to do. That is not what I would be doing.

2008 yam 250 Check engine light camp on while starting up for first time this season

Did the motor crank but not start? That might be the kill switch. Check engine notice is provided when the ECU sees something abnormal.

2007 F115 starter relay position and how do you "jump it"?

A short to me indicates that a ground is involved some way some how. In the case of the starter motor it has a ground by virtue of being connected to the block with the block being connected to the battery negative post. Jumpering battery positive to the starter motor is how I would describe...

2007 F115 starter relay position and how do you "jump it"?

I completely understand the difficulty of reading wiring diagrams. Or trying to correlate a diagram with the wiring on an actual motor where stuff is hidden and not what it seems to be. And it is even more difficult reading and understand written words. You to me. Me to you. Certainly you can...

2007 F115 starter relay position and how do you "jump it"?

The F115 starter motor can draw upwards of 260 amperes. If you are going to bypass the solenoid and power the motor directly you want to use a large cable to do so. Be prepared for some sparking. Possibly welding your cable to the terminal. The large red wire to the solenoid is connected to the...

2007 F115 starter relay position and how do you "jump it"?

I thought a short was a direct path for battery positive to a ground?

2007 F115 starter relay position and how do you "jump it"?

Brown wire from the key switch to the control circuit of the relay. When there is voltage on the control circuit the relay closes. Battery + then flows through the relay power circuit and on to the control circuit of the solenoid. When there is voltage on the solenoid control circuit the...
