    Does anyone know if I can cut a flywheel magnet. See photo. Length is right but too wide.

    Advice/Ideas please. Only way this engine will start is with the timing fully advanced. If i try to retard the timing at all the engine cuts out. Compression good, spark on all cylinders, getting lots of gas.

    1995 OMC 115 hp in Jet Drive Zodiac. Has fuel, spark on all cylinders and compression is 110 psi on all four cylinders, new plugs.     1996 Turbojet

    I need to replace the 1996, 115hp omc powerhead on my Zodiac jet drive boat. Could someone please tell me what years these engines would be the same. I know of a couple of 115hp Johnson/evinrude outboards I can buy need to know if the engines are interchangeable.
