I pulled the float bowl off my top carb because it was leaking and when I pulled the gasket the brass baffle fell out. What is this baffle used for. I watched a utube video of a guy that rebuilt a carb and it was missing and he had no issues with the engine running without it. I am waiting for my gasket to come and wondering if I have to pull the carbs to get the baffle back in it.
