    screwed up. need help!!!!!!! 85 hp evinrude

    1969 evinrude 85 hp. wasnt getting fire to plugs so took off flywheel to clean up and see whats wrong. in the process i tore off a plug wire from the distributor cap assembly. anyway to reconnect? im new to boats so im afraid ill have to buy a new one.

    no fire in plugs prop turning while turning over engine

    bought a 1969 larson with a 85 hp evinrude. ive got to the point of getting it to turn over but i have no fire. boat was sitting for awhile. ive replaced the ignition switch. plugs. taken off lower to clean it up and replaced impellar. put type c oil in lower. but when i turn it over the prop...

    1969 evinrude 85 hp wont turn over

    I just bought a 69 larson with a 85 hp evinrude ob. I took the lower off to clean it up and check the impellar and such. When i had it off i could turn the flywheel but now that its back on when i turned the ignition key the starter would engage but woundnt crank the motor. And now the starter...

    chord in lower unit help

    bought a 69 larson 85 hp recently. took off the lower unit to clean it up and a chord is connected to a something that im guessing controls shifting? I dont have any idea where this wire goes please help!!!!!
