    Wiring Diagram for 55 Evinrude 1968 Outboard

    was replacing starter switch on 1969 Evinrude 55 and had an incident where an accessory positive line was tapped the solenoid connector on the starter switch and when you turn the key to "ON" position but not the "Start" mode, the starter engages immediately. Have replaced the switch twice now...
