    NGK vs Champion part II

    I have a 77 Johnson 85hp and it refuses to run at all on NGK'S. Which i don't understand NGK makes the best 2 stroke plugs. It doesn't like anything but Champions.

    And it is a pita to work on that. I still haven't figured out a way to avoid pulling the power head or cutting my case. They come out fine but going back in is an OMFG situation. 77 Johnson 85.

    I have a 77 85hp 3 port and they don't sell rebuild kits anymore. The pump they sell now has been through 5 different revisions and is bigger even though they lie through their teeth and tell you its the same.
