    BF225 changing the timing belt

Do you guys use the very expensive special tool for tensioning the alternator belt? Or a cheaper off the shelf gauge?

2007 Honda BF 225 water leak

You might try flushing it in a test tank with the cover off. Have you changed the thermostats recently? Salt can definitely build up in the cooling circuit. Some folks feel that the flush port does not do a complete flush because the motor doesn’t get to 160 degrees, therefore the t-stats do...

Honda BF90AW Doesn’t Pee With Flush

I gotta say I agree with JGMO the best water pump on a new to you motor is the one you installed yourself. I flush my 2013 BF 200 that sees only salt water use as often as possible, and I change out the water pump about once a season, even though the old one usually looks pretty good. I figure...

    honda 2015 9.9

If you are going after the internal anode, you also need to replace the complicated o-ring that seals the water jacket cover. Best to read that section of the shop manual carefully as it mentions a few different seals that should not be reused if the motor has seen salt, you will also have a...

    honda 2015 9.9

I’ve had the same issue on mine. I’ve been able to clear it by removing he tell tale hose from where it exits the engine under cover, straighten it out and clear with grass trimmer string while running the motor. Last time I noticed that water was also slowly dripping out the relief valve on...

2007 Honda BF90 - hooked up battery backwards - dead

Could just be a faulty ground. You were just messing with the battery connections. You might try to check if either of the cables is corroded or if ther is a loose ground wire somewhere.

    Bf250a fuel issue

I just happened to have resolved a fuel issue on my BF 200 by replacing the LP filter.

    Bf250a fuel issue

Agree with C Hawk. Did you change the low pressure fuel filter? I’m thinking if your hp filter was bad, and maintenance lacking, the lp filter is likely messed up too
