    Yep rebuilt my old original and it runs like new. Beware of Chinese copies on Ebay.

    hmmm... Spring Cord End Cord Fasteners Maybe??? . Jimn is right. If you post the serial number we can look at a diagram and maybe locate it.

    Almost looks like a Helicoil insert. Have you had the motor long?

    Once on step, after a about 2 min it looses power and bogs, I have to pump the bulb and its back running like a spotted ape. It also idles good. I suspect the Chinese fuel pump I installed for 28$ I do have a rebuild kit for the original. (i know it sounds lazy) What I've done. 1 All new fuel...
