    thanks….but I did remove them….they went back in, got the oil level all set and it runs and goes into R-N-F so hopefully I’m good…..

    1997 50 HP Johnson 2 stroke. Number is worn but I can see J50T.....I attached a photo. Ok so....embarrassing but it is what it is....I went to change the oil in my gear box. I'm not a boat mechanic but it felt it was pretty straight forward. When I started, I noticed all the drain/fill etc...
