    Even when I disconnect the kill switch it still does not work? It only sparks once when I short the kill switch wires and disconnect them?

    Hello, I have begun to restore an old DT3.5 upon inspection it only sparks when the kill switch is being disconnected???? If you have any idea of what the problem is please let me know because parts are hard to come by for this outboard. thanks.
