    I resurfaced the head and the block on glass and replaced the head gasket. Now both cylinders are 40 psi. Time to order rings.

    Replaced the coils, points, and condensers. Still misses. Actually worse than before. Pulled the plugs and noticed water on the bottom plug. Spun the engine with a drill with both plugs out. Water gushing out of bottom cylinder. I think I'm about done with this one.

    That "alternative" pinion gear is from a 2hp with an 11mm shaft. The 15 has a 15mm shaft. It won't work.
