    How wide is it supposed to be? I set it at 0.020 which is what was in the instructions with the new points and condenser

    I'm gonna take the boat out within the next couple days. I'm gonna take a temp gun and keep an eye on the coil while I'm out because I always end up stranded and have to troll motor my way back in. You think that 11-12v is good though? According to my reading it should be lower between 9-10 right?

    As far as I'm aware the motor is original. When I bought it precious owner had recently replaced spark plugs and cables. I've spoken to him and he of course has no idea why it's doing this as it's never happened before.
