    Yes,you are correct! I’m new at all the outboard and boat stuff,but doing my best to learn . Behind the choke flaps,further back,are the throttle flaps. Those are almost closed at idle and open fully with throttle ( engine off).

    I’m getting mixed info from anywhere 🙈 663 should mean this is a 70’s outboard,but the serial number places it in 1992! Ppl saying mix ratio is 50:1 but I have a tag on the engine with 100:1. It’s pre-autolube, 2 cylinder 2 stroke.
