    4.3 Mercruiser Vortex

    Replaced both batterys (950 cca) tapped the key got good crank, put the muffs on and got a small crank then nothing. Replaced starter, solenoid, checking plugs and wires tomorrow, all cables to batteries are clean and tight. Any suggestions?

    No water !!

    Hi, I have a mercruiser alpha 1 gen 2 1998 4.3 vortex . When I put the muffs on I am not getting water to come up from outdrive through engine and back out !!
