    Also in one of the top holes right below were the lower unit bolts on there's a bunch of black that ran down the side of the motor. I tried to post a picture of that but it says image is too big.

    My motor was only running on 2 cylinders. It was the bottom coil. So I changed it with a used one I had here. Just went out tonight and tried it out and it was fine.     I'm just curious what you mean? I don't have a 70hp. I have a 2000 25hp 3cylinder Johnson. I run it wide open all the time. Just to were I'm gunna start trolling. Then wide open on the way back. Just with myself lots of times. Does it cause damage?

    If I get it out could I not just one at home hardware or something? I was thinking about soaking it with blaster for a few days and then try to get it out with some needle nose vise grips. I just can't believe it broke I hardly even touched it. I've broke one bolt before putting a new license...

    I just ordered a manual but it's not one that gets sent too my house. I have no idea how to print it. I haven't even been sent a link to print it . I thought it was going to shipped to my house

    Ya I have to get one. I tightened up those big nuts on the ends of the big screw that goes across the front . Seems to help. Not %100 but good enough. See what happens Saturday when I go out. B
