    The web is a huge source of information. Found evidence that the problem stems from a design error. The new BF 250 (2019) have the O2 sensor moved higher. As you can see it is a couple of inches and this is obviously a palliative that mitigates the problem but does not solve it...

    What you say is true. I'm looking at forums dealing with honda HO2's problems and I've also seen mostly talk about BF 200-225. BF 200-225 have been on sale for many years, so it is very likely that the BF 200-225 sold are many more than the BF250, and this can make the difference...
