    I'm installing a manual tilt and trim shock absorber on a 1990 70 HP Johnson outboard with all the small parts and was wondering where i can get a good picture of how these go together ? The shock absorber is no problem its the reverse lock and the other parts im wondering about. Any help...

    Compression test 1990 Johnson 70 HP

    I'm reading 105 PSI across all 3 cylinders on my 1990 Johnson 70 HP motor is this a fairly good reading for a motor this old ? Also this is the first time this motor has been turned over since 2002.

    manual tilt&trim for a 1990 - 70hp Johnson

    I have a 1990 70 hp Johnson model TLES , the previous owner took the power trim & tilt assembly off and i would like to convert it to a manual tilt & trim can i do this with the existing stern brackets ?
