    I am working on a 93 9.9 Yachtwin Long Shaft. For the life of me I can't get to the lower unit, to rebuild the water pump. I remove the bolts from the lower end and the spacer/adapter and the adapter won't drop but 1/16 at most. I can twist it side to side and see the shift linkage bolt but...
