    Just got a carby out of a Johnson 7.5hp- J8RCSS and pulled the bottom off and had a look at what i think is the needle and seat. Is this meant to have a needle balance across it? As it seem to be lacking that http://imgur.com/YOgh6rd

    Been tasked to find a problem with a family boat motor and went to have a look again today, Found that the engine cover latch is rusted and now seized. tryed some WD-40 and a pair of pliars and still cant get in. Is there any other way to get the engine cover off? bit of brute force got me in
