Need help if anyone has advice

I have a 1993 Rivera 220 with a OMC Cobra 5.0L (ford) I did not winterize it. (Took it to storage with intention on going back and forgot and never winterized it) boat ran great last season (got it last year took it out 2-3 times) changed gear oil looked great. Hooked up hose Started it up noticed freeze plugs were popped out (3 out of 6) and it was dumping water right out of the bottom of it. Ok so I replaced those fired up engine was running good then all of a sudden by the oil fill cap it was spitting out mix of oil and water combination. So I decided to do a little research and started easy by replacing exhaust manifold and riser gaskets. I got those changed also changed spark plugs re assembled started up again and massive amount of oil water mix still happened So I’m leaning towards head gasket or cracked block. Is it worth doing head gasket rather than just getting a new block? Am I able to do compression test with taking manifolds off (only way you can get to spark plugs) my oil is so thick I have tried to pump it out just clogs up so running boat to thin it out and I’m just spitting water and oil everywhere. So that’s a no go. No matter how long I let it run it just keeps filling with water and oil mix. Now asking about the head gasket I have access to a shop with any tool imaginable but I have never done a head gasket before. (Yes I have people I can ask help from but lining up schedules has been proven to be very difficult) does anyone have a link to a video on a how to just to give me a guide on this specific motor. I am very mechanically inclined but being honest haven’t done one before. Is there a way to test to determine if it’s head gasket rather than block or vise versus? Or does anyone have any other suggestions?

It's not a head gasket and don't bother with a compression test
The motor is cracked just need to figure out where. Many will crack the intake. I would pull the motor and start taking it apart to find out where the crack or cracks are.

That’s kinda where my head is leaning as well (based off research) but I have conflicting behaviors from the motor lol. I found out new block cost about $14-$1800 then transfer everything but just found a completely refurbished motor plug and play type deal for $1900+ shipping. Just trying to find out if it’s worth the extra money and necessary. Hate to pay extra and pull motor if I didn’t need to and just replace gasket. Thanks for the info

Bite the bullet and pull the motor. There is a crack somewhere and only way you are finding it is a tear down. Especially if the season is short where you live, as long as the other motor that you found checks out, drop that in and then decide if you want to go through rebuilding yours

Swapping the engine will get you back on the water in the shortest time...give the age and the unknowns of the damaged engine, I think it's pretty straight forward..
