2012 PCM EX343 not starting

I have a 2012 MB Sports B52 with a PCM ex343. Bought it last september and used a few times, never an issue. Stored it over winter and got it back out this late spring. started it 15-20 times. storing at a marina in a slip.

second time out, had some trouble starting. took a bit, but got it going (feathered the throttle in neutral), stopped and start 3-4 times, no issues. went back out a the next day, fired right up. sat for a week and a half. Tried to start and same issue as before, only this time, couldnt get it to start. Guy at the marina tried to help. checked some fuses, gave it a quick shot of start fluid and nothing, not even a sputter. I can confirm that when turning the ignition to run position i can hear the fuel pump hum for a few seconds. While turning the ignition over and over I ended up breaking it (wouldnt catch and the key would just spin). sounds dumb, but I'm under the impression that there is NO kill switch on this thing?

Replaced the ignition yesterday with what seemed to be the same that was in there and wired it the same, back where i started. engine cranks but never starts or even thinks about starting.

Things I plan to try today/tomorrow:

recheck every fuse I can find (fuse box near the motor, inline fuse by motor, breaker panel under the dash (just reset them/press the button?)
check for spark

I would imagine that after checking fuses and spark, i should have a decent direction to go. if spark, a fuel issue maybe? if no spark, maybe shaft position sensor or coil?

Really trying to not take it in somewhere or have someone come to the slip here lol. Any help or direction would be great.

so you had a 'no start' and you wind up breaking the ignition switch...ignition switch replaced and still have no start?

any stabilizer added to the gasoline remaining in the fuel tank last fall?

If not, I would suspect the fuel has gone stale....

I would check for spark being present at the plugs... if you have spark, fuel pressure would be next on my list.

correct. started multiple times since coming from winter storage and ran maybe 3-4 hours total (almost 1/4 tank) before the problem started. stabilizer was used.

will do!

Got it started yesterday. I checked all the fuses/relays, wiggled all the wires and connectors I could find. Started it once (daughter was helping me) and then turned it off. Got it started again with a lot of throttle in neutral them back to zero throttle. While running.

Now, it makes a noise, almost like a pulley bearing going out. Checked the pulleys and they all seem fine. Started it woth thr belt off and the noise seems to still be present. Belt back on, started it, put in gear both ways, same.
