Is my cooling water passages blocked?

Guys:
2004 Yamaha F100 outboard
I’ve changed my anodes and impellers but the engine overheats. The tell tale is not strong. I used salt away. I have no water coming the thermostat hose while running…
There was heavy salt deposits - anodes were barely present or totally gone. I’ve removed and cleaned the poppet valve.
Are the water passages blocked? What steps can I try before disassembly?

Post actual compression values here.-----If testing in a bucket the water MUST be well above the impeller.
Thanks for the reply. I’ll purchase a compression gauge and check. I’ve noticed no water coming out of the thermostat hose… and seeing what seems to be light smoke….
My other engine (I have dual) pushes water from that hose nicely…

So I went from bad to worse somewhat…
I purchased a Compression test set. However it seems I need a 14mm long reach adapter… wasn’t included in the kit. Can’t seem to find on Amazon, etc. all the fittings are not long enough to reach the threads. Failure 1
I’ve tried sending up a stiff wire through the water tube… used different sizes and even tried my electrical conduit fish line… BUT the end part of that line got stuck in the pipe :(
So now I have to get the pipe out to clear that.
I’m leaning to a pipe clog or water passage entry blockage. When I put water to the thermostat I get good flow down the tube.
I connected a hose to the tube and no water still to the thermostat.

My immediate question now…. Can I pull the water pipe out downwards or do I have to pull the power head?

If I have to take out the power head to access the water tube is there an video or documents you can advise?

Thanks much
