Not sure what I have (I did look at Evinrude & Johnson model numbers)

Hi all, first post. I recently acquired an older outboard motor. However, would stamp on it and what I search for online or two different motors altogether. I understand OMC I believe made these motors and Johnson & Evinrude made the outboards. AI keeps guessing the wrong motor, looks nothing what I have. I have a teardrop fuel tank that wraps around the flywheel, rear tank, small wings that face the user. It’s stamped JW-10 with a serial number: 1005567. States made in Waukegan, Illinois. Says Johnson on the tag. Flywheel has two notches and states Evinrude Motors on it. It’s also painted a lighter blue. Here are some photos of it. If you could help identify I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

Thanks, just found out I have a 1941 (pre war) Evinrude 3.3hp Sportwin. The transom tag said JW-10, someone replaced it. The motor stamp I found and serial helped solve the mystery. Thank you for responding, I appreciate it. (That model you show has a cowl on it, mine does not. Just an aluminum fuel tank around the flywheel. And mine has the old rope pull start, not retractable one)

I looked at 1941 also, the 41 and 47 were the same engine since WWII put a stop to outboard production for the aluminum needs to support the war effort. I think your engine is missing some parts.
