The fuel pump is the middle portion of the VRO Fuel Pump
Is it electric
No, the fuel pump is driven off crank case pulse as the crankshaft web spins.
Is that where the diaphragm is that could be causing the problem
The diaphragm sets between the oil and fuel chambers. Yes they can tear or develop pinholes. What exact problems are you having that makes you think the diaphragm has an issue?
