Honda BF15 Year Identification

I have a Honda BF15 Hp that has no transom tag. All I have is the block serial number.
It is BAAE1218939. What year is my motor? Thanks,

You will probably need to ask a Honda dealer parts guy to cross reference that number for you to an accurate answer.

AI says 2000 or 2001 but, that can't be trusted. I will call Honda directly. Thanks.
