Plan to cover w/ heat shrink an smear alite layer of no/ox on terminal.

a friend gave me the red handled crimper holding the AWG4 lug.I belive it will crimp the AWG 0? not sure what the three sizes are on this tool but its only the lenght of a pair of pliers.please advise an thanks

I would be skeptical of the larger lugs...no QC in the advertisement so why would you expect it in the product.

The wire used is NOT tinned so, if you plan to use it, having tinned lugs on the ends may not matter much. The strands appear on the larger end so handling that wire may be challenging...

Regarding the crimp made on the larger lugs - it may work but i would not expect the connection to last. My hunch is that the crimp tool used doesn't match the crimp connector's requirements, if they even exist. make sure the connection made is mechanically secure (ie, give it a pull test)...

The best crimps result from using matching component that have been verified. I believe you get a better quality end product from a brand name crimp connector, using the same OEM's crimping tool, and separate piece of double walled heat shrink tubing.

on the No/Ox grease, using it is fine as long as the particular tube you are using fits the intended application...there are many different brands/formulations out there.

recieved the spade connectors they look thicker stronger in there images. there really equivalent to harbor frieght stuff. I may decide to get these high temp spades they appear thicker. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B5TG9Y82/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=AWLDNVQJN14TE&th=1

I'm installing a electrical water presure sender under the cowl so I now wanting to try a water proof type connector this appears decent. I can use the leftovers for bilge pumps ect.

I wouldn't set your bar too high regarding the spade connectors...there is really no need for a 'high temperature' version...which ever ones you pick, make sure the crimp tool used will work with the connectors you select.
