Black with red stripe, should be open circuit with clip in. Try pumping throttle a few times to prime, those cold start thermal valves can be tempramental

    Honda BF250 Corrosion problems

See my comment previously, that issue will only be caused by stray current from boat electrical, transducer etc. Grt a marine electrician to check ot out. Honda will not warrant corrosion caused by electrolysis, no manufacturer will.

    2017 Honda BF100A - Alarm at Startup

You can try cleaning the O2 sensor with throttle body cleaner, sometimes works. But I would read the codes.Google pulling codes on a Honda outboard, it's the same for all of them

HONDA BFP60 beeping whilst in gear both reverse and idle

You need to read the codes, unplugging sensors on a BF60 will trigger alarm and check engine light. You can read the codes the same way as the older efi motors. just check you tube reading honda outboard service codes.

    BF225 changing the timing belt

Perfect mate, a lot of people think it's too loose and push the tensioner beyond spring tension.

    BF225 changing the timing belt

It is straight forward, the only thing I can warn of is not to over tighten it or you will shred it. Follow manual instructions, it will seem a little loose but it's supposed to be

    BF225 changing the timing belt

If timing is correct, it doesn't matter which way you turn the motor, although it's good practice to turn it clockwise because of where the tensioner is situated. You usually turn the engine two revolutions after fitting the belt and then rechecking your marks. If it's a tooth out it will run...

    Honda BF130 Worthless?

I would say not, new powerheads don't have a serial number. It's normal for the frame number not to match engine number, they never have

    Honda BF200 sputtering

It's got a fuel restriction, after slowing down the VST fills up again and it will run normally until it's empty. Check you fuel line where it goes through the rigging grommet. Also try priming with the primer bulb when it starts stuttering to see if it recovers, could also be a weak low...

    Honda 150 hp rpm's oscillating.

No problem, let me know. The fault you have is fairly common, I'm sure that will be it.

    Honda 150 hp rpm's oscillating.

No, see No 7 in schematic

    Honda 150 hp rpm's oscillating.

Before you do that, check your fuel pressure, a blocked high pressure filter or high pressure pump pick up screen could also cause this. You are not very clear with your symptom. If rpm is steady at full throttle, then O2 sensor, if you rpm fluctuation is at full throttle then more likely a fuel...

    Honda 150 hp rpm's oscillating.

Yes, easy to replace, it's on top of the exhaust manifold. You will need a 22mm O2 sensor socket, it's a deep socket with a cut out

    Honda 150 hp rpm's oscillating.

Lazy O2 sensor will cause this. I'm assuming it's fine over 4000rpm

You should have hydraulic steering on a motor this size.

honda bf 225, strange overheat beep signal?

I have had that more than a few times with Honda thermostats, try changing back to the old ones if you have them

honda bf 225, strange overheat beep signal?

If you're having an overheat, the DTC will not show a code, only log an overheat event. Only a faulty or open circuit to a sensor will throw a fault code indentifying the faulty one. I would start with replacing the thermostats, thet would cause a rapid overheat if not opening correctly, had...
