    Mallory Distributor cap Firing order

    I purchased a crab type distributor cap for a YL-520-CV and the firing order molded on the cap is, reading clockwise 12736845 with the coil wire coming out between 2 and 7. Any one know this firing order, I am baffled.

    Will this wiring sematic give me trouble if the SPST ( with indicator light) and the Auto float switch were turned on at the same time?? Wondering because of the use of the two battery's. Picture is included. Thank You ArtK

    Yesterday while fishing all of a sudden when starting my 90hp mercury on my 1995 Tracker Pro 18 the tach. started to read 4000 as zero and pinned the needle at 6500 plus at WOT instead of the normal 0 to 4500 ish. Any thoughts would be helpful Thank You Art

    OMC 1975 stringer engine

    Replacing the Chevy 307 with a early 350. any one know what initial timing should be and what the advance curve should look like. Using the original Mallory YL624JY but the springs are old and rusty. Also would like to know what the WOT should be. Thank You.

    The engine mounts were fastened to the stringers with 3/8" x3" lag bolts, during rebuilding the holes are now filled with epoxy. Can I pilot drill and use lag bolts, or is the epoxy to brittle for that, or drill out about 1/2" and epoxy 3/8" studs into the stringers and use nuts to mount, or...

    I'm inspecting the drive from top to bottom and want to flush the lower drive section what would be best to use? I need to replace the two vertical shafts in the upper so that is completely apart. Thanks in advance
