    Thermostat question

    Got new thermostat in two pieces. Is this normal or is it a bad part. I suppose i could just push the shat into the body. But i want to test it first and i don't think it will shorten after cooling. Thoughts

    15 HP electric start Evinrude no spark

    So no spark to either cylinder. Disconnected stop switch wire still no spark. Per manual charge coil test was good. Also did sensor coil test, good as well. Power pack output test failed on both leads. Manual says to replace power pack. I also checked the plug wires. Couldn't see any broken or...

    Intermittent no spark

    I recently acquired a 15 HP electric start evinrude. Model# E15ELEOD. It will intermittently not start due to no spark. Once it starts it runs great, doesn't cut out or bog down etc. I am thinking it could be in neutral safety switch but I can't locate it. Any help appreciated.
