    Exhaust Plug? 1993 OMC Cobra

    I have a black plug at the transom end of my exhaust bellows on my OMC Cobra 3.0 - any ideas what it's doing there? Can't find any literature and it doesn't show on parts diagram. Boat is new to me - any insight is greatly appreciated.
