    Re: What year is my Mercury Thunde Hi, I need some help with identifying the year of my Mariner 50hp. Last six digits of the serial number is 188514. First digit is a zero but the second digit has been scratched so it's unclear. Could be a 8, 5,6 or 9. To me the full number looks like 08188514...
