    Yeah Jason said the heads probably wouldn't/shouldn't need resurfaced. And okay I wasn't sure if that damaged even if cleaned up would cause detonation issues itself

    They're .020 the pistons are stamped. And rod alignment tool? Got a part number for the tool? And I know number 1 gets a new sleeve after the repair. I'm anticipating number 6 needing a sleeve. It MIGHT clean up but I'm just gonna go ahead and budget for a sleeve

    Talked to him today. And honestly the prices aren't nearly as bad as I thought. I still have to test the whole power head down to the block which is kinda intimidating, but it's hopefully something I can get done.

    Well the engine didn't run hot from what I ran it today. But I did notice some crap seeping from the thermostat plugs?( Prior to me running it) I would think the cost of repairing the issue would just far exceeded picking up another good used engine? And does anyone still do this repair?
