    Missed this reply. I see what you're saying. The wire could have continuity but have a bad spot that connects the circuit to the alarm. The only time I have heard the alarm sound through all of this is when I turn the oil sensor switch upside down to simulate "Low Oil". No other time has it...

    I did some more research, and I am stumped. I was under the impression that to go into the low RPM mode it had to do with one of two things. Low oil or high temp.

    If you mean Electrical... where the there are two boxes mounted on the side of the motor. one is an electrical junction box and one contains a 25amp fuse and some electrical junctions from different areas of the motor
