    Thanks, just found out I have a 1941 (pre war) Evinrude 3.3hp Sportwin. The transom tag said JW-10, someone replaced it. The motor stamp I found and serial helped solve the mystery.     Hi all, first post. I recently acquired an older outboard motor. However, would stamp on it and what I search for online or two different motors altogether. I understand OMC I believe made these motors and Johnson & Evinrude made the outboards. AI keeps guessing the wrong motor, looks nothing...
