    I also have another question and thank you for taking the time. All three wires coming from the motor to the 700 series control are connected but there are 4 additional wires coming from the controls that are not. I’m wondering what they are for? They would be black, white and double yellow...

    I have a 1998 70HP Yamaha. I was testing the motor with muffs and noticed a steady stream of water coming out of the front of the lower unit. I don’t ever remember seeing this before is this normal? See attached
