    As I mentioned before, I have adjusted stud all the way up and it just clicks in reverse. If there was some magic push-pull trick that’s not in the Mercruiser service bulletin I posted above, it would be helpful to know what that is.

    If I pull on the lever arm on the cable plate, it will lock in reverse. It’s like the remote cable just can’t push far enough to get reverse to lock in on its own, even though remote cable travel is 3-1/8.
