    Question for justintime, 2009 225 hp \/max

    I have an 09 model 225 Vmax Series 2. Was runnin a 25p t1 prop and could turn 6100 which I know is too much. Went to a 27p t1 because Yamaha don't make a 26p. Now I turn 5600 to 5700. My question is, what is the best rpm at WOT for this engine?

    trim gauge 2009 225hp

    I got a ZX225 Skeeter with a 225 Vmax.09 model.During the day today my trim gauge quit.It shows that its trimmed up when its not.When motor is trimmed down,gauge shows up and when trimmed up,gauge shows past up.Does anyone know where the gauge is by the motor?It's a 2 hour drive to shop.I figure...

    Am I suppose to back flush my engine from time to time,or just if water presure starts dropping?I run 28 to 30psi now,which I know is good.I here of poppet valves stopping up with sand when you run in rivers often,will back flushing help keep them clean?Thanks
