    Paul and Racerone, thanks for the help. I just put the 6 HP carb on and it runs great. It will now idle easily at 1250-1300 RPM. The RPMs are much more stable now and fluctuate very little.     Part Number Help 2004 4 hp

    I have a 2004 Mercury 4 HP, 4 stroke that I would like to replace the Mercury 4 HP carburetor with a 6 HP Tohatsu carb. The serial number of the motor is OR041107. The number stamped in the carb is 3R7CRJ9. Does anyone know for sure which Tohatsu carb I should order? Thanks
