Help!! I bought this 1989 Maxum 1700xr with a 1989 Force 85 HP. Back in 2017 and I haven’t had much trouble with it at all from year to year. The last couple years I’ve had issue with the starter solenoid. It’s been replaced twice and now I’m on the third one in two years. What could be causing this? This year I decided to jump the solenoid and got it running but then it wouldn’t shut off. Turned the key off and pulled the kill switch and the motor just kept plugging away. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
