Hey yall, I’ve got a 1992 force 90hp outboard and it keeps losing spark, I got the boat last year and replaced the stator and the flywheel and regained spark for the rest of the season, fast forward to this season and I got it run twice in the beginning of the year on muffs but then it died again and had a total loss of spark, I then bought a new trigger ring and stator and swapped them in and got it running great.
I then took my boat out yesterday and it ran great for the entire day till I docked at a little bar/restaurant near me, go to start the boat and seemingly have lost all spark again.
I am wondering if anyone on here could point me in the direction of some parts or maybe the possible root cause of what keeps frying my spark components. The boat sat for a handful of years which I don’t love but as I said I got the motor running pretty well, until it didn’t anymore.
