2013 Westerbeke 6.5kw generator

Hello all. I have a Westerbeke 6.5 generator with approx 35 hours on it. Had a tech come out to look at it and I was told it was the High Pressure fuel module. The part alone cost $2500! Good thing i was sitting when they told me. Anyway, is there anyway to have is module repaired or Lower priced replacement. I know these components are somewhat expensive but this price seems excessive to me. Thanks jt
