conectting rods 60 hp 1970

hi,i am wondering if my conecting rods will work.the old rods are a bit different than the ones that i bought .i have a 60 hp esl 1970.the new ones are a bit wider at the bottom.i think in 1971 the rod style changed on the 60 65 70 hp.i allso have the coversion kit for the new wrist pin bearings.the old style had a 5/8 pin vs the 3/4 i have know.the rods i got are remanufactured. all i have is the casting number 327213 not omc part #so i am unable to cross reference to see if they are a match.allthough the stroke of the rod is the same.my old ones on the bottom were it conects to the crank looks to be scolleped and the new ones are flat.does anyone no if these newer style rods will work. thank you
