I have just aquired one in rebuildable cond. which has a cone clutch, and may have had internals for a planetary reversing arrangement- unfortunately previously removed. If the missing parts can't be sourced, does anyone have thoughts on a cost-effective alternative to create reverse? "

Hi Eric
23 years after your post,I have acquired a twin cylinder w e hardman ht motor.
Which for the record I have never seen before and know nothing about
Everything seems to move and work as it should, except the carby which is non existent.
Any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated
