Prop size

Pitch and size of prop is dependent on max recommended RPMs for your motor, what it's pushing, weight, load positioning and atmospheric conditions. So not fobbing you of,but those factors need to be taken into account

Yeah, I know all that info is in the calculation but I was looking for someone who had the same general set up and what they were using; 10' inflatable, 15 hp 2-stroke merc, top rpm's 6000 ( so recommended 4000?), pushing approx. 300 pounds, didn't know the atmosphere had anything to do with it since it's sea level. The prop is 9" tip to tip. The size and pitch is stamped on the prop but too corroded to read. Thanks for responding

I figured there had to be a "general" size and pitch prop for this motor. It has a 3 blade 9 1/4 prop on it now, just couldn't figure out pitch due to the # being so corroded. Called a prop shop and was told the "normal" prop for that motor, general purpose, is 9 1/4 x 9.
