Rectifier

I've got a 1988-1990 Evinrude 15 hp, and i'm replacing the rectifier. Coming out of the stator I have yellow/blue, yellow/gray and yellow wire that of coures
go to the rectifier. But the new rectifier only has solid yellow and ( red ). Dose it matter witch solid yellow goes to witch yellow/blue yellow/grey or yellow?

No it does not. Just make sure the red goes to red.

I get a Ohm reading in both directions.
