I have a mecury outboard 4.5 hp 2-stroke. It has the serial number 9339587,

It says on the badge that its made in belgium B4822 verviers.


I cant find any imformation about the engine online. If anyone has any information, it would really helpful. Thanks

According to your engine serial number your outboard is an 18hp. As for the year, It looks to be late 1984 just before the serial number format changed in 1985. Below is a link to the parts diagrams for that outboard.
