BATTERY ISOLATORS
ELECTRICAL HARDWARE
Multi‑battery drain occurs when there are two or more batteries in a
ELECTRICAL HARDWARE KIT
charging system. Without a battery isolator, accessories attached to one
battery will draw power from all other batteries in the circuit, leaving
them seriously rundown, or even dead. The Quicksilver Battery Isolator
is an electric current controlling device which isolates each battery in
the circuit. Each battery then discharges and charges accordingly.
Never does the load on one battery drain power from other batteries in
the system.

Contains a broad selection of the electrical connectors used on Mercury/Mariner/
Force and MerCruiser products.
BULLET TERMINAL RECEPTACLE
70 amp rated, for 1 permanent magnet generator (requiring regulator sensing) and
3 batteries.
Fits 2 cycle & 4‑Stroke Mercury/Mariner outboards (except OptiMax) with 16, dual
20 or 40 amp stator (permanent magnet generator) and a voltage regulator.

equipped with a belt driven Delco or Nippondenso alternator system.

BULLET TERMINAL RECEPTACLE
Allows the connection of any battery isolator to Mercury/Mariner outboard. Kit
includes a 10 gauge red cable (8 ft.[2.44 m] length) that connects from the
regulator output terminal to the battery isolator input terminal.
Fits Mercury/Mariner 50‑125 hp. (2000 & prior) with high output (16 amp.)
alternator and V‑6 models (1999 & prior) equipped with 40 amp. alternator or dual
20‑amp alternator systems. Connections from battery isolator to the batteries are
