2010 Tohatsu mfs15c carb upgrade

At 950 fair bit of vibration - assume this is normal? Am I doing it right by adjusting the carb stop screw?

Yes, the idle stop sets the idle rpm.

Hi. Is this thread still active?
I have an MFS15c. It starts easily but the tick-over is not stable. It either revs up or almost dies. I've dismantled the carb and can see no dirt or damage, but I cannot undo the top plate (one of the screws is seized). Any suggestions, please...or should I do as others appear to have done and buy the 20HP carb complete?

Carb for the 20C would work if you can't get that plate off.
