has anyone on here ever used this transom saver?..i just bought one because i could not find a saver that did not interfere with the extra little fin on a 60hp merc..its a different concept and i havent trailered boat yet....

http://www.m-ywedge.com/ i am not selling or pushing the thing....i just bought it and havent trailed with it....what it is is some super heavy duty rubber or rubber look alike....you just snap it on the power trim piston and trim dow til it starts to compress the rubber. in my case only one piston....the trailer is not even in the picture....i suspect you better have a well built transom.

probably cost about 5 bucks to make....2 bucks if in china......i been on the wrong end of this boating business all my life....caught a lot of fish tho.......

trailering clips are used in conjunction with this on some motors and applications....i talked to them via email and they said not needed on single piston outboard....still havent trailed boat....anxious to see how it does
