Mercury 40hp thermostat

Having problems with the temature buzzer going off at full throttle back off it stops new impeller kit housing seals gaskets impeller. New head and side gaskets no blockage can anyone Help????

I do not believe there is a thermostat on this motor.----Was the old impeller in bad shape ?---Pieces missing ?----Perhaps part #79799 ( NLA ) is the issue.

No thermostat and no impeller was in fair condition but I took the head gasket off and side plate everything was clear no blockage

Also there is a good stream of water coming out of the tell tell it is warm
